Character Counts!

Last night we celebrated Emma and her achievement in Character Counts. Centennial (Emma's school) participates in a program called Character Counts that teaches students the 6 pillars of character. Emma was recognized last night for exhibiting the pillar of RESPECT! Each teacher at the school picks one girl and one boy from their classroom to get recognized at the assembly. Justin and I were so proud of our sweet girl and her accomplishment.

First Soccer Game of the Season

Yesterday was the first soccer game of the season and it was so much fun. This is Logan's first year playing soccer, his game started at 8:30am. Even though his division doesn't keep score his team still rocked it! His team had multiple scores, Logan scored twice and assisted once. He had a blast being able to play this year and it was so much fun to watch.

being aggressive...
...SCORE...
...getting ready to score again!

Emma played as well yesterday, her game started at 2:30pm. Her division doesn't keep score either which I think makes it nice for the kiddos because they can just focus on the game and not on who is winning and loosing. Emma's team did amazing, Emma scored her first goal of the season and was so excited! She has become much more aggressive in getting at the ball and loves to run, run, run!

...aggressively getting after the ball.

...standing like coach, haha!

It was such a fun day and we are looking forward to the rest of this season!

Jog-A-Thon!

Today I had the opportunity to work at Emma's school helping her class with the Jog-A-Thon. This is truly a great event to help get students active and raise money for the school. Each student was given a tag and each time they made a lap around the designated area they got a tally mark on their tag. Emma rocked it today, she ran 10 laps in 15 minutes!!!! I was so proud of her and her go getter attitude. A big thank you to Meme for watching my handsome boy so I could be a part of this fun morning!!

And they're off!!!

Emma's teacher Ms. Tanner participated as well.

Soccer Season Again!

Soccer season has begun and we are super excited this year because both kiddos will be playing soccer with the GYSA - Gilbert Youth Soccer Association. Emma is once again on an all girls team. She had practice this last week, she will practice once a week for the next few months. Logan is on a boy/girl combo team in a lower division because of his age so he does not have a weekly practice. His soccer schedule is a bit different because his team will practice 30 minutes prior to game time and then play a game. Both kids first soccer game is tomorrow and you can expect lots of pictures of both of them. Let the soccer fun begin!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Today for many people is a day that you tell or show your loved ones how much you truly love them. For Justin and I we never celebrated this holiday because we show each other how much we love one other every day, we don't need a holiday to do it. I hope that everyone finds a love like what Justin and I have.

Four years ago today we welcomed our little man Logan to this world. He was the best valentine in the whole world! He is a joy to us. We love everything about him...his voice, his sense of humor, his acts of love and so much more! Obviously words can not express how much we love him and our sweet girl Emma. So on Valentine's Day I would just like to say to Emma and Logan I love you and am so proud to be your mommy! Happy Valentine's Day Babies!

Emma's Valentine's Day Party @ school!

Today I had the opportunity to help out in Emma's classroom for her Valentine's Day party. It is always a blast to help out in her room. Me and my friend Ann signed up to do a craft. We found these really cute butterflies that you can make out of pixie sticks. Emma had so much fun decorating valentine cookies, making a couple crafts, playing valentine games, and handing out valentines.

Here is Emma with her teacher Ms. Tanner.
