Dear 2012,

Dear 2012,

You will always be one of my most cherished years. You brought so much LOVE, GROWTH, BEAUTY, AND JOY! Our family has been blessed throughout this year and in so many ways. From finding out that we were pregnant with baby #3, to watching our kindergarten girl become a first grader, to watching our big boy create, imagine, and learn, to celebrating our 30th birthdays, and welcoming our second baby boy into this world. We will never forget the pure joy we have experienced.

You were a year of LOVING LIFE and focusing on taking every moment and enjoying it. You helped me savor my pregnancy knowing that this would be our last baby. I cherished every kick, every day of heartburn, every night of insomnia, and every belly flop. You also helped me remember how important it is to be present in my daily life and never take anything for granted. I have savored watching Emma and Logan grow and become amazing little people.

So thank you 2012. I've learned, I've grown, I've laughed, I've cried, I've celebrated, I've rejoiced, I've loved, and I've believed. You were a great year! A year of new beginnings and excitement of what is to come!

~Sally

Christmas Eve & Morning...

Christmas Eve we always open gifts with Meme and Papa Maley. This year Justin didn't have to play at church so we were able to start our Christmas Eve early. I always make chili and cinnamon rolls for dinner and we dress in our comfy clothes. It is always a relaxing night for all of us.

Emma thought Meme and Papa got her garbage bags, as you can see she did not like that very much.

Christmas Morning... Santa brought lots of fun presents.

Crepes and Great Grandkids

This past week we tried to get all the great grandkids together while GG Newell was here, unfortunately only a couple of us were able to make it. It was still fun to see Kayla & Aiden and Ashley & Noah. Emma and Logan had fun playing with their little cousins. Best part was that GG made her famous crepes for us, they were SOOO good!!!

ZooLights

ZooLights is a Christmas tradition for us. The kids love to dress warm and go to the zoo and see all the different animal lights. The zoo keeps adding new lights year after year so it always changes. The kids got to pick out a light saber and a light microphone to use while we walked around and looked at the lights. Landon did great all bundled up in his stroller, of course he slept the whole time we were there.

The famous giant blue tree as you enter ZooLights.

Cutie kids super excited to be at the zoo!

Christmas Baking

This year for Christmas we decided to make some different cookies for Santa. We made gingerbread cookies instead of sugar cookies, they were still super yummy and I am sure Santa enjoyed them. Emma and Logan had fun making the different shapes and helping me bake, while Landon enjoyed a nice nap in his high chair. It was a fun afternoon.

Emma's 1st Grade Christmas Party!

Today Emma's class had their Christmas Party. I love helping out and being able to take part in her classroom events. There were 5 centers for the kids to participate in... Human Snow Man, Cookie Decorating, Creating Christmas Cards, Making Snowflakes, and a Snowman Game. All the kids had so much fun, especially our sweet girl!
