Dear 2013,

Dear 2013,

You have been the year of experiences and living in the "now". This year our family has experienced so many joys and blessings. Every day is a blessing whether it was just relaxing at home or vacationing we have enjoyed all 365 days of 2013. This year we took multiple vacations some included going to Disneyland, Legoland, and Sea World which we absolutely loved, but we also had low key trips like visiting one of God's greatest creations the Grand Canyon.

We experienced the everyday "now"and found more joy in those days then every before. It has been amazing watching Emma and Logan grow throughout the year, both going to school and also being able to be a participate in school events with them. We have enjoyed watching Emma grace the stage multiple times in competition and loved watching Logan score touchdowns. We have watched Landon take his first steps and say his first words and we celebrated the biggest milestone of all turning 1 year old. It's those everyday moments that make life truly special!

So thank you 2013. Thank you for the "now" moments and the joys of waking up every morning to four amazing people. It was a year of EVERYDAY BLESSINGS, CONSTANT LAUGHTER, JOYFUL TEARS, and AMAZING LOVE.

Bring on 2014!

~Sally

Butterfly Wonderland

This weekend we took the kids to a new exhibit that opened called Butterfly Wonderland. It is the largest butterfly exhibit in the country. We watched a 3D movie and then we were able to go into the butterfly atrium and walk around all the butterfly. The butterfly land on you and one even landed on Landon's head! Justin was in heaven shooting pictures of all the butterflies with the new camera lense he got for Christmas. Logan and Landon enjoyed it, Emma wasn't to excited about the butterflies landing on her. The wonderland also had an ant exhibit and honeybee exhibit along with a small aquarium and sting rays that you could touch. It was a fun place to visit and I think the kids had a great time.

Christmas Day!

Waking up bright and early the kiddos could not believe their eyes they were so excited for what Santa brought them. One of Logan's gifts was the Lego Coast Guard set that he wanted, Emma received the Monster High School that she wanted, and Landon got some new toy sets to climb on. It was a great morning. Later we went to Nona and Papas house for lunch and more gifts. And of course to wrap up the day we opened our own family gifts that night. It was a day full of smiles, laughter, excitement, gift opening, and fun. We had a wonderful Christmas day!
