The Zoo Came to School!!!

For the past 2 weeks my preschool students have been learning about different animals and I wanted to find a way to wrap up our animal unit. So I called the Phoenix Zoo and they have outreach programs that will come to you and teach you about different animals. So that is what we experienced today!!!! I invited parent and siblings to join us in this fun even and my students were so excited to see an animal from each of the animal kingdoms. We touched and learned about the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, a tarantula named Bubbles, a burrowing owl, a cute turtle, a ferret named Farrah, and lastly the animal that made the kids say "AWWWWW" a super cuddly bunny rabbit. Below are pictures of our experience. I know that this is a day my kiddos will always remember!!!
