Young Ambassadors Program @ Centennial

At the end of March Emma was nominated by her teacher for the Young Ambassador Program at school, each 3rd- 6th Grade teacher is only able to nominate ONE student. The Young Ambassador Program is an elite group of students who exhibit great leadership skills as well as excel academically.

Here is what Emma's teacher wrote for her nomination:

Emma is a model student who consistently and genuinely demonstrates leadership through her great character, academic achievements, and always being 212. She reaches to be her very best academically by going above and beyond to show critical thinking, hard work, and dedication on all assignments. Although Emma is very busy with extracurricular activities, she shows responsibility by making her school work a priority as well. Her demeanor towards other is always kind, well mannered, and respectful. She befriends those who are shy, quiet, or otherwise not usually approached. She is always also willing to help others when they need it. I have 100% faith that Emma would represent Centennial in a way that would display pride and dignity. Emma is without a doubt a leader here at Centennial and a perfect fit for the Young Ambassadors Program.

After her nomination Emma had to interview with a panel. Out of all the nominee only half would make it into the program. Based on her interview and nomination Emma was accepted into the program. She was so excited. She will be responsible for being at monthly meeting and all school events. She can't wait to get started as a Young Ambassador next year!
