Upcoming Show : Saturday July 14, 2012  

On this week's show, Ann Rider from Recovery Empowerment Network, Justin Chase, and Shawn Thiele from Magellan Health Services of Arizona will be on the show to discuss the new 54 million dollar state funding budget for Arizonans with serious mental illnesses--including what the new funding will mean for many non-title 19 recipients who lost services due to recent state mental health budget cuts. Our panel of guests will also be discussing any possible effects the recent federal healthcare legislation will have on those labeled Severely Mentally Ill (SMI), title 19 recipients and others statewide who either have lost benefits/coverage due to cutbacks; or who do not qualify for healthcare through AHCCCS publicly, but also cannot afford private healthcare coverage.

Justin  currently serves as the Senior Director of Adult Clinical Care with Magellan  Health Services of Arizona. Justin has experience and expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring cross-population service management and development  modalities based on evidence-based and emerging practices. Prior to Magellan  Health Services, Justin served as the Acting Bureau Chief of Adult Network  Operations for the Arizona Department of Health Services/ Division of Behavioral  Health Services.
