It has been such a crazy busy week. Yesterday Emma's class had a field trip, today Logan and Emma are participating in their school's Fun Run, and tomorrow is Logan's 7th birthday. Whew!!!! Yes are having a super busy week!
Today Logan and Emma participated in their school's fun run. For the last three years the school has done a fun run to raise money for various things through out the school. This year the money being raised will go towards new playground equipment. Each class set goals for each dollar amount they earned. When those goals are met they receive their reward. For example when $10 was earned they would receive 1 week without homework. On top of classroom awards kids could earn individual awards like water bottle, bracelets, toys, etc. It really motivated the kids and they couldn't wait to participate. Logan's class was the top class to earn the most money! As a bonus they got to throw a pie in their teacher's face after the fun run, the kids LOVED this!
On Fun Run day they were asked to run about 30 laps around in a circle. Music is playing and it is a lot of fun for the kids. Here are a few pics from today!
