This was the first year that Justin did not play at Christmas Eve service instead he opted to take the night off and enjoy it as a participant instead. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve going to service at 3:30pm and then coming back home and eating our usual Chili dinner with Meme and Papa. After dinner it was present time and the kids could not wait to open their gifts. After we had opened all our gifts and the kids immediately started playing with their new goodies. Later the kiddos got our house ready for Santa to visit. They put out their cookies and milk as well as carrots in the yard for the reindeers. Then it was time for bed and sweet dreams while we waited for Santa to visit.
