Today the Phoenix Zoo came to our preschool. I love that the zoo offers this outreach program. I had them come to preschool two years ago and they came today also. Tippy was the name of our zookeeper and she did a great job introducing us to the different groups of animals. She brought a spider named Bubbles, a rabbit (couldn't remember it's name), a chicken named Betty, and a turtle named Turbo. The kids had so much fun meeting each of the animals and learning about them and what makes them unique. The best part of all was getting to touch each animal!
