On Saturday night Emma had her Christmas dance recital. She performed her company competition dance and a Christmas hip hop dance. It was so fun to watch her perform, she rocked it! She is learning so much at this new dance studio, it is awesome to watch her progress as a little dancer. After her performance we took pictures and presented her with her flowers and gifts. Emma was so excited because her school teacher, Ms. Lowell-Britt, was there to watch her perform as well.

Emma's dance studio created a Big Sister/Little Sister program for all the company dancers. Emma's Big Sister is Cheyenne, she is suppose to be a role model for Emma. She encourages her in her dancing and for the recital Cheyenne was responsible for getting Emma changed for each performance. I just love this idea! Before each performance the Big/Little Sisters exchange Good Luck gifts and cards. It has been a very special thing for Emma and given her even more confidence in her dancing.
