Emma's class as well as all the other first grade classes participated in a Turkey Parade to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Logan, Landon, Peggy, and I got to go to the school on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We watched Emma march in the parade banging her tambourine and wearing her Thanksgiving hat. Her class performed 3 Thanksgiving songs for all the parents. Afterwards we went to her classroom for her Thanksgiving Feast. It was so fun watching her perform her Thanksgiving songs. Emma loved having us there to see and celebrate with her. It is special things like this that I just love!
