Pumpkin Carving 2012

Tonight we carved our family pumpkin, it is always fun! Everyone took part in the carving...Daddy cut the lid of the pumpkin for us, Emma and Logan dug some of the guts out, and I made the face. Emma thought it was fun digging the guts out. Logan wasn't such a big fan, he wanted to hide behind the furniture. Overall the pumpkin turned out super cute. Justin and I thought it was the best pumpkin we have ever made.

Pumpkin Lighting - Centennial Elementary 2012

Friday was Emma's school 3rd Annual Pumpkin Lighting. We went this year and had a great time seeing all the different pumpkins that each class creates. We also picked pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, ate ice cream, created spooky ghosts, and we visited the school book fair where they both were able to pick out a couple books. Emma and Logan were also able to wear their Halloween costumes, Logan was a Arizona Cardinals football player and Emma was a princess. Since Landon could arrive any day we decided that this year we would have the kids wear dress up clothes that we already owned. Logan loves being a football player and calls the black lines under his eyes his "makeover" haha and Emma looks lovely as a pretty pink princess.

Preschool Halloween Party!

Today we had our Preschool Halloween Party. I decided to have the party early just in case I go into labor within the next week or week and 1/2. My preschoolers were so excited to get dressed up and have lots of fun. We played games like freeze dance, pin the nose of the jack-o-lanterns, and hot pumpkin. We also made spooky halloween houses out of graham crackers. Since we are not going to have a Christmas party this year I  incorporated our gingerbread houses into our Halloween party, thus spooky houses were created. :)

It was such a fun morning and I am so glad that I was able to celebrate Halloween with my sweet preschoolers!!!

Schneff Farms

It's not FALL without a visit to Schneff Farms! This year we decided to go during the day instead of at night like we usually do. The kids had so much fun this year since they are older and were able to ride more rides together. It is always fun to pick our pumpkins out of the pumpkin patch, pet the animals, ride rides, and have fun snacks.
