Mrs. Motroni's Retirement Party.

Logan's kindergarten teacher Mrs. Motroni is retiring after 25 years of teaching. She is an amazing teacher and Logan just loved her. She truly put her heart and sole into teacher her students and I feel so lucky that she was Logan's kindergarten teacher. 

For Mrs. Motroni's Retirement Gift I made her a wooden tool box with a bunch of fun items for her. She loves to wood work and so I thought the tool box would be a great idea for her. I also helped make a banner and welcome board for the party. It was a Christmas themed retirement party because Mrs. Motroni loves Christmas. It was all super cute!

Welcome to Summer!

IT IS THE FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF SUMMER!!!

Look at how excited these kiddos are! They worked hard all year and now can't wait for lazy day, lots of swimming, a little traveling, play dates, and just having fun!

We celebrated the first official day of summer by swimming of course! They also had a blast getting every toy out in the house, Emma made dinner for us (spaghetti), and they opened up their summer fun packs. Each summer they get some fun stuff to do over the summer in their summer packs. This time they got a few school things, like flashcards. They also got summer pjs, swimming things (like dive sticks), they got a movie, and more. We can't wait for this summer and all the fun that is coming with it!

1st Grade End of the Year Awards

Today was 1st Grade Graduation. It's so hard to believe that Logan is all done with first grade! The school year has flown by and I know he will miss his first grade teacher, she was awesome! For the celebration all the students sang a few class songs, we watched a slide show, had breakfast, and then Logan's teacher handed out class awards. Logan received the Our Rescuer Awards. The award is for the student who is always coming to the rescue of others and that really true is Logan. He has such a gentle heart and loves to help others. He was so proud of his award and Justin and I are so proud of him!

Writing Club Publishing Party

This year Emma participated in The Writing Club at school, it was an after school club that she was so excited to be a part of. As a way to wrap up the year and all the wonderful things they wrote about each student had to pick one of their stories and have it published. The Writing Club then hosted a Publishing Party were students read along their published pieces. Emma's published piece was about dance. She did a great job writing and reading her story to all of us parents. Justin and I were so excited and proud of her writing accomplishment this year. 

Water Day - 1st Grade Logan's Class

1st Grade is coming to an end. As a celebration for doing a great job this year all the first graders got to have a water day. Logan's class had a blast playing on the slip and slide, having popsicles, playing water games and getting soaked! I was able to help out that day while Landon had a play date at Ann's house with his buddy Colt. It is always a blast to help out at school events. I love watching Logan have fun with his friends.

Sunday Funday - Phoenix Zoo

Today is Sunday Funday and we decided to go to the Zoo. Landon loved going to the zoo with his sister and brother, he loves spending time with them. All the animals were so busy today. They were eating, running around, hanging out together. We enjoyed watching them all be so active. We also went to the petting zoo today and brushed some of the goats as well as rode the carousel before we left.
