Landon's 1st Movie @ the Theatre

For Emma's birthday weekend we took the kids to see the movie Home in the Theatre. It happened to be Landon's first time going to a movie. He loved the movie and did a great job sitting in his own seat. Surprisingly he watched the whole movie and only had to get up once to go with me to the bathroom. We are so excited to add "going to the movies" as one more thing we can do as a whole family.

Emma's Birthday @ Amazing Jacks

The birthday girl wanted to go to Amazing Jake's for her birthday dinner. Amazing Jake's is so fun because there are so many fun rides and games for the kids to do. Emma's favorite ride is the round roller coaster, Logan really loved the video games, and Landon loved the Choo Choo Train of course.

Mini-Mall for Moms - AZ Edge Performance

Today is Emma's birthday and there was an AZ Edge event planned the morning of her birthday. She was excited to get to perform on her birthday and hang out with her friends. They performed at a Mini-Mall for Moms event. She rocked her performance and at the end of the morning all her Edge friends sang Happy Birthday to her. 

Happy 9th Birthday Emma!

Today Emma turns 9! I wish I could say I am excited for this but in all honesty I can not believe that this is her last year in a single digit number. How did my baby girl get so big so fast! Even though I am feeling a little sad about the day Emma is so excited to be NINE. She woke up to this...

She loved having to blast through her doorway to get out of her room. We also decorated the kitchen/dining room a bit. This weekend is her BIRTH day, but her actual party is next weekend so we are saving the bigger decorating for that event. 

She couldn't wait to open her gifts from all of us.

Her big gift this year was a BIG surprise. She wasn't expecting it and those make for the best gifts of all.

She got an official mermaid tail that she can swim in! We got her the complete swim suit as well.

And just for fun we got Logan a shark fin. So now we will have a mermaid and shark swimming around our pool. They loved them!!!

First Grade Sing Song

Tonight Logan's class and the rest of the first grade classes performed a Sing Song. They sang many of the songs they learned during music class this year. Logan performed wonderfully and many times I could hear him above the other kiddos. I love that he loves to sing and perform, he loves being in front of a crowd! Great Job Logan!
