Friday I helped out in Emma's class with their Mother Goose Games. All the games were inspired by Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes. Emma and all her classmates had so much fun playing all the games. Here are a few pictures of our morning and my sweet girl playing games.

Emma's 6th Birthday
Wednesday was Emma's 6th birthday, it amazes me how fast time goes by. Emma was so excited for her birthday to come and to be a BIG 6 year old. It was all around a very special day. We made treats for each of the kids in Emma's class since we couldn't invite everyone to her birthday party.
The birthday treats we brought to Emma's kindergarten friends.

I made Emma's favorite breakfast on her birthday, pancakes with butter and syrup!

The birthday girl got a princess crown and wand from her kindergarten teacher Ms. Tanner.

Meme and Papa had an Edible Arrangement delivered to the house. Emma loves Edible Arrangements, it was a super special treat!!!
Unwrapping her birthday gift from Daddy, Logan, and me. We got her a doll from one of her favorite movies, The Princess and the Frog, a play dough set that creates cakes that you can decorate, and some crafts.
Emma had a wonderful day celebrating her birthday.

ASU Scrimmage Game...Who's Ready for the 2012 Season?
On Saturday Justin and Logan had a daddy/son date and went to ASU SunDevils field and watched ASU scrimmage against one another. The team does this every year and the game is free to the public. Logan loved spending time with his daddy as well as see his favorite team play, Sparky even made an appearance and said he remembered seeing Logan at Logan's birthday. Overall it was a fun Saturday afternoon.
Emma's 1st Kindergarten Field Trip
Last Friday was Emma's first official field trip as a big elementary school kid! Her class along with all the other kindergarten classes and first grade classes participated in the Power Ranch Annual Ladybug Release. Power Ranch, our neighborhood that we live in, releases over 600,000 ladybug every year into the community in order to beautiful our plants and environment. Emma's class was able to take part in the experience and she had a blast.
Emma with her lunch, this was a big deal since she hasn't ate lunch at school yet.

Ms. Ladybug, she also read a ladybug book to the kids.
Almost release time!
Each class got 6 bags of ladybug. In each bag there were 200-300 ladybugs, it was an incredible amount. Since I was a group leader our group got their very own bag to release. It was amazing how many ladybugs we let out of our bag, Emma was excited (see pictures below).
Can you spot the ladybug on Emma's shoe? The kids literally had them crawling all over them, it was pretty funny.
Lunch time!

Soccer Season is Over...
Today was our last Soccer Saturday! We had a great season, it was so fun watching both kids participate this year. Logan had so much fun making new friend and learning the basics of soccer. He loved all the players on his team, especially his coach and he LOVED the name of his team "the Red Bulls". He scored a goal in his last game and he was so excited!!!
Logan with his trophy!!!
Logan and Coach Josh.
After Logan's game his team had a pizza party at Barros and we got to celebrate a great season! I brought a cake for the team, I think it came out pretty cute!
Emma had a wonderful season as well. This was only her second year playing, but she seems to be getting better each practice and game. She has become an aggressive player that is willing to get in between girls to get the ball. She scored 3 goals for the season and it truly has been wonderful to watch her play.
Easter
We had a wonderful Easter, full of family and fun! Justin played at church again this year and we had the chance to enjoy watching him rock out. Meme and Papa had lunch at our house and we hunted Easter eggs. Later in the evening we went to Nona and Papa's house and hunted for more Easter eggs as well as played with cousins. Here are a few pictures from our day.
