As a way to prepare for our Disneyland trip I thought it would be fun for the kids to play some Disney inspired learning games that I created. I made them car proof meaning they will be able to play with them in the car. I laminated all the pieces and used velcrow so that the pieces won't shift while we are moving. Below are just a few of the games I created. I think they came out pretty cute and Emma and Logan can't wait to play with them.

Motivated
There has to be more I can do. This thought runs through my mind at least 20 times a day. I'm sure your wondering what more should or could I be doing and what am I really talking about. Well let me explain... Since I started this blog I began reading other blogs. Many of them are blogs created by moms just like myself. Some blogs I have found are created by wonderful mother's homeschooling their children and sharing their experiences, lessons, thoughts, etc. Now I am not a big fan of homeschooling. When I taught I saw two different sides; one side was the parent who was serious about homeschool, they created interesting lessons, they were attentive to their child's interests, but also knew the curriculum they needed to master in order to succeed in public or private school. And then there were parents who claimed they were homeschooling their child, but in fact misused their child's time and thus doing a disservice to their child. Now your probably think OMGoodness she's going to start homeschooling her children, well not exactly. If you think about it I have been homeschooling Emma for the past year, but this motivation is actually being directed toward Logan. Many of the blogs I have been reading lately have been eye opening in a good way for me. For the past year I have been focused on my preschool and Emma's learning, but have neglected valuable time with Logan. One day as I was searching through some blogs I came upon a blog that talked about TOT SCHOOL. Now don't let the name fool you it really isn't school it is just a time a day that you focus on the TOT in your family. WOW!!!! What an idea!!!! I mean how many times a day do I think about preschool and the activities, lessons, themes, etc. for the year, but I haven't once thought about my little man and the valuable time that I am missing out with him. SO I'M MOTIVATED!!!! If you're a tot mom like I am look at the TOT School (just follow the link on my blog). The concept behind it is so simple - expose early learning skills through fun play. This is easy and best of all your tot is learning!!!! So here is my goal for the next few months...I want to take advantage of this learning time with my little tot Logan. I want to create fun activities that works his mind, but best of all he has fun with. And I want to document his and my progress for all of you!!! So like I said I'm motivated and can't wait to get started and I hope you follow me on this journey.

Our Low Key Easter
This easter our family had a bad case of the stomach flu. It started with Logan and then progressed to Emma, Justin, and I. For Justin, Emma, and I the flu only lasted a couple of days, but for Logan it lasted for 2 weeks. By the end of the 2 weeks he had lost 6 pounds, he had been to the ER once for dehydration, Justin had missed 3 days of work to help me at home, and I had canceled school for 2 weeks. I'm glad to say that everyone has made a full recovery. Logan is doing so much better and is making up for lost time by eating, eating, and eating all day long if I let him. Here are a few pictures of our Easter...
Buzz Lightyear & Woody for Logan, The Princess & the Frog for Emma.

Finding Easter Eggs...
More Eggs.
carrots and some water. Looks like he was very hungry.
As you can see they loved them!!!!
These next two pictures are from Meme & Papas house. We celebrated Easter with both Meme & Papa (Maley's on Sunday) and Nona & Papa (Chase's on Saturday). It's always fun to visit with both sets of grandparents unfortunately as you will see from the pic. of Logan below he still wasn't feeling that great.
He wasn't really into finding eggs this year.
Even though our Easter was spent trying to get well and cleaning our house we still managed to have a blessed Easter. Our Savior Jesus Christ has rose from death so that we may have eternal life with him. Hallelujah Jesus is Alive!!!
